Hi everyone. Just letting you know I am still here. I'm just blog stuck. I don't know what to write about. It's like I'm an ant walking on top of a sticky bun. The harder I try to get off the more stuck I get. Hopefully my ant friends or someone else will eat the bun so I can finally be free from this silly little rut I find myself in.

Dear M*, i've come across a few blogs who are stuck for posts. There are lots of challanges out there, like actually cooking a recipe from a cook book you already have & same for a craft project. Does that help you?? Gives me a kick up the bottom every now & then. Good luck, looking forward to your next post. Love Posie

The trick is to avoid coming over all a'flutter. If you just sit back with a nice book or a crochet hook or some such, the bun will get stale, the icing all hard-like and you can pootle on out of there.

Hey Melanie... I've been much the same this year so far. My plan is to just keep posting about other people until I've found my crafty mojo again. I feel like everything I make at the moment is stale with no purpose... Oops, I'm not helping am I... I think you've got company on that sticky bun. Hope you can find your mojo again soon. I'm missing you and I'm sure heaps of others are too. Kx

The new blog design looks great. I've BTDT with the stickiness. (I loved your analogy, and now I'm also hungry for sticky buns.) I often find my blog blocks coincide with creative blocks, which is doubly frustrating. Hope you find your "muse" soon. In the meantime, enjoy a bite or two of the sticky bun! :)
Hey lovely lady! I know what you mean. Sometimes I just cringe at the thought that i even HAVE a blog considering I feel like I have NOTHING interesting to say EVER! But you do so you shouldn't worry!

Well whatever else comes of this sticky stuck time, I ADORE your sprung-cleaned blog header!
I'm more of the 'get back on the wagon with a few short/crap/meaningless posts' kinda gal than a 'sit back and wait for mojo to return' girl, so that's what I'd be doing, but we're all different. I miss you, and would happily read your shopping list. Particularly if there was a Wuppet sitting on it.

I'm the opposite to you at the moment, I have zillions of things I think about blogging, never getting to the computer to do it. I'm always surprised when I log on and see that all those well thought out posts do not exist! Ahh well I'm off to re-admire those gorgeous jug covers!
Hey Mel, love the new header. Just popped by to see what you and the wuppets have been up to. I see you have sticky bun dear heart. Personally I'd just go with it. No one should ever have to apologise for not posting or being a 'bad blogger'. No such thing IMHO. Blogging is just a part of who we are and sometimes other parts of ourselves are bigger than blogging. And sometimes we just ain't in the mood! You rule your blog, not the other way around, and if she's trying to make you feel guilty, put her back in her place then sit down and have a cup of tea ;) XO

thats the thing Melanie - even a SUPER - talented girl like yourself needs to take stock, refuel and THEN come up with some new, crazy, fantastic inspiration! I am always utterly overwhelmed with inspiration looking at my other favourite bloggers (not that I need to come up with blog ideas myself:-) ). Anyway keep up the great work and the sticky buns look Delicious!
I think that I have been trying to walk on through mine and just kind of found my feet again. I think the main thing is that blogging should be fun and when it feels fun again you shall hit the groove.

Hello! I'd wondered where you'd got to. Love your new banner! Bummer about the blockage. I'm doing the Blogging Your Way e-course at the moment, and one of the topics we just covered was blog content. Two suggestions from the course - make a mood board of what you want your blog to be (you can see mine on my blog from last week) and keep a little notebook or file with things you like or have seen around your world and a bit of a repository of ideas when you get stuck. I don't know if that helps, but it was great fun to do the mood board and did help me focus. Anyway, looking forward to seeing you around soon! Nic
