My Creative Space

I was a little bit stumped as to what I should do for my creative space this week. I am still crocheting on the tram every morning but then those of you that have been dropping by my creative space over the last few weeks would know that I have already included a photo of myself crocheting on a tram. I'd only be repeating what I have already done and that's no fun!

Soooo this is what I have come up with...

My Creative Place

So apart from crocheting on the tram, I have been doing a lot of creative thinking over the last week. If you recall my earlier blog entry, I have set myself a task of opening an etsy shop (or another like-minded craft site) and I have in turn been quite absorbed by a myriad of new and old ideas. I have also been continuing on with my mini crochet squares in hope that one day I will earn myself a scarf (or at the worst a dress for my daughter's Blythe doll!). I have also been sketching some new ideas for necklaces along the same theme as this one, and are hoping to get some long overdue sewing out of the way.

So all in all it has been a productive week even if most of it hasn't been of a physical nature. But if you are looking for some inspiration of the physical variety why don't you check out Kootoyoo's blog and see what exciting things are happening in creative places throughout the world...you won't be disappointed!

wonderful - so much of the creative process does actually happen in our heads - love how you illustrated it with your photo too :)

I love that - capturing all your thoughts. Maybe next week I will have a sporty photo of myself with a butterfly net.

Oh I so get where you're at this week. I'm a bit jumbled and swirly this week, so trying to get it all down on paper.. maybe I need thought bubbles instead :)

love that picture....sometimes I feel my head will explode if I don't stop thinking of new ideas (or at least get some of the old ones done & dusted)

Fantastic! How long did it take you to do that photo? That is a creation in itself.

How funny! We both left comments on each others blogs at the same time.

I love this! I think my brain must look similar - well as much as so many things going on! I feel remiss in my parenting sometimes as I have so much creative stuff happening in my thoughts, that sometimes it's like, oh dinner. Mmmm food. Forgot about that part... and have to save myself at the last minute by pulling a meal out of my hat! Somehow I get there in the end, the kids don't know the difference and I get to have my happy creative daydreams, planning etc. All good fun!

I like your creative space - there's a bit happening! This is truly where everything begins so it's good to see different creative spaces other than a table top.

I just checked out your necklaces and I for one would love to buy one 'when' you get your craft/etsy store thing happening (no pressure :)

You have captured what many of us experience. The creative thought process is what drives us to actually make what we do. Not everything we dream up will be a success and it is much better to workshop ideas in our heads rather than in the studio sometimes. Your eyes definitely have that creative glimmer in this photo!
