But it has also been influenced by an etsy purchase I made about a week and a half ago and which arrived a couple of days ago.
I have been following both of Izabela's blog 'handmade creations with a blue fish' and her 'bluefishhandmade' for a little while now. I am really impressed by her crochet creations especially the incredibly fine and intricate work she does.

So in my space this week you can see the very delicate and fine red crochet necklace cum bracelet that I bought from Izabela's etsy shop. I am so in love with it. But what is also impressive is the little crocheted pansies that Izabela included on the card and box that the necklace came with. The flowers are so incredibly fine that it completely took my breath away! As I result I have decided that I want to see how fine I can make my crochet as I would love to be able to create something as delicate and intricate as what Izabela has created.
So that's me for this week but there is more excitement to be found over at Kirsty's blog - kootoyoo so make sure you take a look! And don't forget to check out my giveaway below!

Beautiful!
Im in the stage where i want to see what else i can do with crochet too. Those delicate Pansy's are so pretty. I must get myself a tiny hook and tiny thread to try some of those!
Are those mini squares for your granny Scarf?
Oh they are lovely. I'm sure teeny tiny crochet is one skill I will never master, but I'm enjoying watching your quest for that beautiful delicate work. :)
Oh my word, that necklace IS divine.
The necklace is beautiful. Izabela really is most inspiring.
How gorgeous is that!? Yep, I agree - very inspiring. Thanks for this. K
Oh dear. You remember how I said I wish I had time to crochet? *sigh* this just makes my day - they make me giddy! I have to go and check her etsy shop...
Lovely creative space M*!!
Your creative space is lovely to browse. Very exicting.
That is one beautiful necklace. A couple of summers ago I sacrificed my eyeballs maniacally crocheting tiny flowers without any aim or end in sight (except sanity because my inlaws were living with us). But my flowers always seem to curl (wilt?) at the edges.
That's a beautiful find. You will definitely be needing your Birch magnifier now - have you taken it on the tram yet??!!
such a very pretty necklace. and like the set up of your creative space photo.
I just taught myself to crochet and I'm dying to try the fish rocks over at Resurrection Fern. Crochet everywhere!
Beautiful necklace and my favourite colour too.
Thanks everyone for your kind comments. I feel bad because I haven't managed to get around to all the spaces this week. I am hoping get to them tonight or tomorrow.
@ Nicola - yes there is every intention that they will be a scarf. My daughter kindly reminded me this morning that I have 125 to go...eek
@ Lucy Bowler - I haven't used the magnifier on the tram yet but I must say that I am finding the squares easy peasy now. The only trouble I tend to have is when I do the centres. If I lose count then I have to count the trebles and that can be hard. I might use it on Monday just to see how people react =D Will let you know how I go.
what a beautiful necklace - i must say i'm jealous - good luck with your fine crochet, when i made my granny square necklace my eyes were going all funny!

Stunning necklace! My grannies are still wonk so I think delicate crochet is a long way off for me.
Oh that last shot makes me feel like I've stumbled across a nudist crafter beach ; )!
Oooooh, that necklace is stunning, the fine work in it is just lush. I'm off to check out her shop, thanks M for the tip.
thank so much for the lovely mention about my shop and necklace, I was so busy last week so I missed the post - but anyway thank you so so much!
