I'd firstly like to take some time to say thank you for all the lovely comments I have received about my creative space this week. There have been so many and I wish there was an easier way to say thank you personally. Unfortunately I still haven't figured out how to email back a response to those who have their email enabled. It probably sounds silly as I am actually quite tech savvy, it's just that I haven't had a lot of time to sit down and sort out the finer nuances of blogspot yet. I really like the way JS kits works but I haven't had the time to play around with and install it either so until I do I will be limited to mass style thankings.

So what has been happening over the last few days? Let's see...
- I finished the giveaway day in may scarf. Yep. A marathon knitting effort. It's about 170cm long too. And I did very special things to it so it's even more special than the one I made myself. Pop by on the 27 May (Wednesday) and it will be on display, waiting for someone to win it!
- I went to the Sonny and Coco market. It was very busy! Lot's and lot's of stalls and lot's of beautiful arts and crafts too.
- And last but by no means least, I discovered (and then purchased) the item below when I went to Clegs on Friday (not to mention the ridiculous amount of other stuff I bought but let's not go there)....

It's a lap magnifier! I know that for some of you it will probably seem like I've been living in the dark ages, but I can honestly say I have never seen one of these before. I am so excited! It was as though it was calling me; like it was written in the starrs. I was only talking about needing a contraption like this to Kirsty at Kootoyoo the other day. It's amazing! Blindness by fine crochet is a now a thing of the past. My only dilemma is wondering how tram commuters will react to it? Do you think I'd look like a freak if I used it on the tram?

I'm thinking JSKit might be the way to go... but like you I just need some of that rare thing called time to look into it.
I LOVE Clegs... not their price tags so much, but their range is heavenly.
I say go for it! Magnify away on the tram.... bah humbug to the starers.
yep go for it - you'll make new friends :)
and go to tessuti!! the fabrics are more interesting than clegs but their haby range isn't as good yet.
and they have a fabulous bargain table and bolts of $10/m fabrics
I had Sunday night off thanks to Bernie also, it was very pleasant. I say go for the magnifier on the tram, a girls gotta see.
Yes, you will look like a freak on the tram- but in a good way...its a great conversation starter- I would talk to someone using one of them...hehehe
Who cares if people think your a freak on the tram (which they might), just go for it!
p.s. if you decide to go for js kit comments, it's really easy and fun to use!
p.p.s. i'm hosting a giveaway - come and see!

Yes, you may look strange but there will be many secretly envious that you can craft on the tram and not give a damn. I finally got reading glasses yesterday and today I stepped on them. Luckily, I was too stingy to buy expensive ones. Maybe I need something big like your magnifier?
Thanks guys. You can all catch my tram (as long as you are doing something freaky ; P) any day!
@ Thea - I'm sorry but I had a bit of a giggle about your comment. Stood on your new glasses the day you bought them? That is terrible luck!
