my creative space

my creative space

Ahh my creative space is a web of conflicting priorities at the moment.  I'm sorry I haven't been around visiting you all regularly and posting bits and pieces.  So much is going on at work, my family and in my head that it feels a little suffocating sometimes.  When life throws so many curve balls at you it can be hard to create order amongst it all. I know I will get back on track soon, it is all cyclical afterall.

That being said, I am still pushing through with my crochet.  I won't let anything get in it's way. This was my creative space on the weekend...

I am churning out jug covers in all manners of colour, shapes and beads.  It's my little moment of solace throughout the day. In fact I have made so many jug covers lately that I have decided it's time to take the next big step and give this a go...

Yep, I'm going to try and sell some jug covers at the Northside Makers Market this Saturday.  I'm not game enough to have my own stand alone stall yet so I put my hand up for the communal table instead.  I'm so excited.  It's such a great market run by very clever and talented people!  Hope I get to meet/see some of you there too!

Pop on over to Kirsty's for more creative spaces...

Wow! How very exciting! How ever will you price such delicious items though? I wish, wish, wish I could come but we'll be at Collingwood Children's farm. I don't think you need luck but I'll wish you lots anyway. And fun...have lots. X

Hope the curve balls slowdown a bit (they never seem to stop).

Best of luck for the markets, a communal stand sounds terrific!

That first photo is awesome!

Good luck with the markets. Shoppers would be foolish not to give your beautiful pieces a second glance!

I admire your chutzpah in going to a market. I have yet to try it. And I totally understand the life and everything getting in the way of blogging. I figure most people do.

Hugs! Love your jug covers!

Oooh, fun! Wish I'd read this before the big day, I would've made an extra effort to pop on over. Oh well. I hope your day has been grand.

PS, I've definitely lost my commenting mojo... I'm still reading lots, though :)
