choose your own crochet adventure...

Well, I finished the final row of the green on the tram this morning so I am now up to my final round which will be in the mauvy pink and will be where I attach the beads or buttons or beads or buttons...yes, such is my dilemma folks.  Do I bead or button this jug cover?

This is where you come into it.  I decided that I'd throw my decision out to all of you.  Kind of like a choose your own adventure story where you get to choose the ending.  So what should it be fellow bloggers, the buttons* or the beads?

I'll hold off finishing this cover until Sunday.  It'll be absolute torture for me cos I am a woman obsessed when it comes to these kind of things. Still, it'll be worth it.  I look forward to all your feedback.

*the buttons are a mix of mauve and pink.  apologies for the second rate photograph

Here are the girls all together for the last time.  You see the orange one in the middle left yesterday, bound for a new home.  It's a little sad, but I know she will be loved and cared for.  That's all I could ask for really.

my creative space

Not a lot has been going on my creative space lately.  It's not for a want of trying though.  I have just been so busy with other things that it hasn't been given as much time as I would have liked...

However...

I did finish this bit of crochet yesterday...

This jug cover has taken me quite a few weeks to finish...

That's because the only time I've given to it is on the tram on the way to work.

Such a lovely colour...

and I love the blue beads.  They really set it off.

I just couldn't stop taking photos of it. Time to start a new one I think...

jug cover

jug cover

Just thought I'd quickly throw in one extra post today about a jug cover I made during the week and finished yesterday.  The colour is a bit out in this photo as it's a little wet because it's being blocked.  It's a beautiful oldy worldy, dirty, musky pink.  I won't be able to take any photos of it once it's dry because I blocked it at my friends house and gave it to her as a late birthday gift. 'Dem de breaks'

I got the pattern from this book Vintage Crochet by Susan Cropper which, if you don't already know it, has some lovely vintage style patterns which are easy to follow.  I really loved making the jug cover and are thinking of whipping a few more as chrissy gifts.
