Well I am back at work this week so my creative space is in mobile mode (hence the black bag!). I have really been inspired by the rediscovery of my crochet skills so are doing a lot of experimentation, contributing to the granny a day pool and really enjoying it all. I also look forward to catching the tram to and from work because it allows me to get into my space even though it's for a relatively short time. Bring on a traffic jam I say!

I'm learning to crochet on Sunday, woo hoo! I can't wait. I love your blog by the way!
Mobile creative spaces are the way to go - need to take up something more mobile! I keep cocking up the crochet...

Oh yes I love the portability of crochet & your teeny tiny square in the flickr is gorgeous.
Hmm, where abouts in Melbourne do you work? The view out of your window looks very similar to the view out of mine....
Thanks everyone! I didn't know if I'd enjoy blogging, (hence why I proscranitated for so long) but I can now see why so many people do it. You get such great feedback and have the opportunity support and meet other great, likeminded crafters. If I had a glass of champagne I'd raise a toast to us all!!
i love knitting on the tram and am never fazed by the traffic! i do get some odd looks when i'm knitting socks though - one man watched me in increasing agony one morning - we got to gertrude street before he burst out - 'please please tell me what you're knitting - is it a sleeve or a glove or what?' when i told him he nearly broke down and said 'socks, socks, of course. my mum used to knit socks. how could i forget' i always hoped i hadn't precipitated some sort of breakdown....
Hi, thanks for visiting my blog! Love the idea of a mobile creative space...wishing I could take my sewing machine with me somehow..I must learn to crochet, but so many projects to start, and my resolution this year is one at a time!
PS. Love your new title image. Very cute.
