I made two skirts today for my Miss Ivy. She is going through a 'skirt' phase and doesn't want to wear pants. She really wanted me to make her a pink skirt and chose a rather bright, glitter speckled pink stretch drill. It was a bit of a challenge trying to come up with an interesting design for a skirt that colour but I think I have managed to do it. Would love to hear your thoughts...

Eeeek I love love love them! Of course being a purple lover my favourite is the purple one but my daughter (also a no pants wearer), is a pink freak. She will flip when I show her these photos. I love that floral fabric on the purple one.
Oh how I hope I win my sewing machine tomorrow!
