Bon Voyage Poppet...

Well the day finally arrived where this one left for her adventure away for a whole month to the UK.  There was a mixture of emotions but overall there was a feeling of excitement because we know she will have an amazing holiday.  I will miss her terribly but I couldn't stop her from having an opportunity like this.

So with Tallulah on a plane, the husband at the footy this afternoon and the 16yo terrorising Melbourne's city streets it's just me and the little one left holding the fort.  I offered to pull out the sewing machine and make her a beautiful skirt (she's going through a skirt phase at the moment) but she said she wants me to make her a big, pink "ephalent".  An ephalent it is. Wish me luck!

Oh I can't imagine getting to the stage when you can let them go. Good on you because you are right it will be an amazing adventure for her. Enjoy the quiet and your littlest one.

a whole month, you'll miss her heaps, but you know they say...give them wings, so they can fly.
she'll be back before you know it.
