My creative space is short and sweet this week. Another jug cover is on it's way...
Can you hear that sound? It's the storm that's surrounding me at the moment. Debris from last minute christmas panic, ill relatives, work, home, children, work, a stupid amount of christmas parties, the dentist (I think I might push her well into 2010), family and work is flying past my window. Oh how I wish I could make it stop! I don't know if I can take it for much longer...

Ahh, beautiful crochet. Thank you. Thanks for providing me with a little solace at the end of the day. Thanks for your rhythmic predictability. If I could hug you, I would.
And thank you to you too Kirsty. Thanks for hosting this wonderful meme. I look forward to joining you and the others again next year.

Miss Starr. I have just observe-ed the image of your cozy corner and nearly wet myself. Why is it not possible to jump inside that paper space right now? I feel so very Alice in Wonderland all of a sudden, but i can't remember if i should eat or drink to get smaller?!
oh sweet solace...
find it where you can...
Gorgeous colour combo and jug cover. I so understand that meditative crochet thing.
I just love your jug covers Melanie. Hope the calm comes very soon. Merry Christmas and happy holidays! K
I love crochet for its meditative powers too... very much needed at this time of year.

Your work is absolutely beautiful, that yarn looks so fine! I am yet to attempt anything less than 4 ply...a little scared to be honest....maybe one day....xT

I'm right with you. Somehow I have managed the art of miniature granny square hugs!
PS. But I'm ready to move to the dark side! Are your lovely doily patterns online or from a book?
I'm in the storm, too, but I think the end is finally in sight. Hope you get some time to relax and enjoy it all too!
