Thought I'd join in with Pip's 'Free things Friday' and have a go at winning her book! This is the diorama I made a some time ago when I participated in the Make-along with Mike Paper month. It was so much fun to make and considering I featured the book in the diorama, I thought it would be fitting for me to post it as my entry! It's also what inspired me to take the plunge and begin blogging. More detailed photos can be found here.
Make sure you check out Pip's blog and see all the other clever people that make things!

Oh yeah! I forgot the prize for that one was Pip's book! I never saw who won it either not that it worries me. I didn't do it for the prize.
Hey, but your folded book sculptures were beautiful, and still are. Are you going to join in?
That is amazing, I would so love to take some shrinking tablets and visit.
Yeah Melanie I looooove this diorama. Seeing it is what made me think yours would be a super cool blog to follow and it seems I was right! How long did it take you to make this?
It would be great to eat the Alice in Wonderland 'eat me' tablet and shrink down and hang out in there for a while. You totally deserve to win Melanie, it is just great.
I think this pic is how I found your wonderful blog...

Thanks Mel. A couple of people have said the same thing about following my blog because of the diorama. I never realised it made that much of an impact on people. I hope I haven't let every one down! I've hardly made anything to that standard since! It took me a Sunday afternoon to do, around 6 hours. I loved making it.
Thanks Kate!
Thanks Annamaria. I'm glad you like it here and hope you keep visiting!
