My Creative Space (H)

My Creative Space (h)

Nothing new in here today.  Well that's not entirely true.  There are new things that I have made over the last week but not any new new kind of things.  When I was away over the weekend I decided to give some doily crochet a try but I am still resting my thumb after it was strained from some hardcore miniature rabbiting crochet! (*note - both rabbits are made with the same pattern) On the upside my thumb is feeling a lot better but I am sticking to knitting for the time being.  I intend to get back into hooking over the weekend. I need to finish the light blue doily I started.

The picture featured in the background is a beautiful print that I purchased from knitalatte on Etsy aka resurrection fern.  My friend Rosemoo introduced me to resurrection fern and said she had a great tutorial on crocheted fish.  She was absolutely right.  Fern does have a great tutorial but also an amazing blog.  I love her work and enjoy reading her blog and viewing all the beautiful images she creates from nature and craft.

But resurrection fern isn't the only creative space that's inspiring.  There are many more out there so go and take a look at kootoyoo and see where Kirsty's list takes you...

Your space looks great! I love the rabbits, big and small, and the doiles are cute. I want to try making a doily one day. Where did you get the patterns?
The print is gorgeous. I though it was 3D too. Going to check out the clog now.

The teeny rabbit is wonderful. Worth the thumb injury I'd say.

What a sweet, teeny little bunny! My thumb can empathize with your thumb--been there, have the T-shirt. Love the print in the background--thought it was 3D!
