But wait, there is more! While visiting Rachel I discovered another amazing giveaway. Laura at "Actually Laura" is also having a giveaway! She is offering up her skills in html to give some lucky winner a blog make-over. How generous is that? So make sure you visit her blog too!
On a side issue - it is so freaking cold in my bedroom on my computer that my fingers are aching in pain from the chill. I am shivering. I am such a lunatic. Please will somebody lock me up in someplace warm? With a glass of red and some gorgonzola cheese?? Oh and some yarn and a crochet hook...

did I mention I adore your header? I just love old silver. spoons the most. forks and knives I'm pickier about...
Have fun on your holiday to Grams
I think you need some fingerless gloves or two. I'm not sure where but the other day I saw an electric blanket disguised as a soft cuddly one that you can wrap around yourself. Sounds wonderful for places without heating. I've also thought about getting a pet pad - you know those electric cushions spoilt little doggies get to take them through the winter months. I think that would be great for the computer chair. LOL Cherrie
ohh some great giveaways! will have to visit....
am loving the picture in this post... is that St George's Rd?
Yeah that's a fantastic photo Mel. And you are so thoughtful to share these giveaway's! I never win any of them (don't feel too sorry for me!) but will certainly give the blog makeover one a cracking good go!
Poor you and your cold fingers (and everything else). The wraparound electric blanket thing sounds like the go. Or perhaps you could invent some kind of knitted or crocheted blog blanket that covers you all over but leaves some little spaces for your typing fingers to peep through? ;)
Don't forget your little scissors otherwise you'll get all cosy and warm and then you'll have to get up and get them when you need to snip a thread :)
@ Sherrin - good spot, it is St Georges Rd!
@ everyone - I think I might try out some gloves! It that doesn't work, electric blanket here I come...
