...peace a chance
...and you shall receive
...me, give me, give me a man after midnight.
Give. It's a really good thing to do isn't it? There's so much giving that goes on in relation to craft. Blankets for the elderly, gifts, fetes and fundraisers etc...Then there's the free tutorials, giveaways, advice and the support we give each other on our blogs too. So much giving. If only everyone in the world loved doing it all the time. Over to you again John...

Ha ha ha! You crack me up Mel! But yes you are so right - there is no better feeling than to give without any expectation. I must admit I have a very hard time being on the receiving end of giving without immediately wanting to give something in return ... but I guess that's the whole point isn't it? :)
Oh and on the ear worm thing I recently heard from a talk-back radio caller that the sure fire way of getting rid of ANY earworm was to start singing The Beatles Oblah-dee Oblah-da (sp?). Apparently it doesn't get stuck in there but it rids you of anything else!
hehee- nice song choice!!! yes. Give. give more. Give lots. I love to give- I am always giving things away and getting in trouble from Chef who is a hoarder- he doesn't know about the mozzie net I gave to a friend yesterday for her kids bedroom- their house has no flyscreens...
I like it!!

You're right, this is a very giving community. I have never seen an online community that is so friendly. That makes it all the more pleasant to be a part of it!
Right on! Since joining the craft bloggers community I have been so much happier — sharing my thoughts, making treats for others and finding lovely parcels in the mail from other bloggers. It is all very, very cool.
Gimme gimme gimme... it's gonna gonna gonna be in my mind all night! But what a lovely word :) K
